Fire Rescue Marine units from Charles County and King George County were dispatched for a reported "person jumping" from the Harry Nice Bridge this afternoon. The call was received at approximately 11:45 AM sending marine resources to the area of the bridge. A range boat from Dahlgren was in the area and assisted Newburg Boat Fire #14 and Colonial Beach Fire Boat #1 in locating a male subject deceased on the surface of the river. Boat #1 retrieved the subject, brought to the Aqualand Marina to awaiting land units. MTA police are handling the investigation, fire rescue units cleared the scene at approximately 1:00 PM
