FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 15, 2025 – This morning, the latest cohort of cadet trainees participated in a highly anticipated "Live Fire Exercise" as part of their ongoing training. The event was designed to enhance their understanding of personal safety, teamwork, and fire behavior—key aspects of their development as future firefighters. The cadets had the unique opportunity to engage in realistic, hands-on scenarios, providing them with invaluable experience in managing live fire situations under controlled conditions. The exercise allowed them to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world settings, reinforcing critical safety protocols while learning how to work cohesively as a team. A special thank you goes to Nanjemoy and the Tenth District Volunteers for providing the fire apparatus and support that made these training scenarios possible. Their partnership plays a pivotal role in helping prepare the next generation of firefighters for the challenges they will face in the field.
