It is with great sadness that the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department announces the passing of Life Member, Past President, and operational member Robert Gerald (Jerry) Hardy. Jerry passed away on March 24, 2025. Jerry started his volunteer firefighting at the Forestville Volunteer Fire Dept for 6 years before joining the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Dept in 1972.
Jerry remained active with the department up to his passing.

There will be a public visitation at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1800 hrs., with Fireman's Prayers at 1900 hrs.
